We work with your team to transfer our skills and experience

Are your current partners invested in your staff?

Let’s be honest. Many providers in the IT industry don’t want their clients to have the knowledge and skills to move forward on their own once an engagement is done. They would prefer that you had them on your speed dial.

While we enjoy building personal and long-lasting relationships with our clients, that shouldn’t mean total reliance on us to maintain the pace of your transformation program. At Idea Harbor, upskilling is an integral part of what we do on every project... so you can confidently rely on your people to keep moving forward.

We leave you better than we found you.

After an IT project is completed, your team needs to be able to sustain the momentum. That’s why we never leave an engagement without ensuring you’re in good hands with your people. We will:

  • Work directly with your engineers so that they have a full appreciation of the changes that were introduced as part of the project

  • Put your engineers in the position to take the initiative forward and keep evolving and improving upon what was done

  • Help spread the knowledge across the company

  • Help you retain talent

  • Make changes are sustainable and sticky

“Upskilling improves morale and increases productivity; saves on recruitment costs .... ensures an adaptable, flexible, agile workforce and enables employee growth, as well as personal and professional development. Lastly, upskilling improves an organization’s reputation for supporting staff and their job satisfaction. This can provide a better company culture and external image of the brand, which in turn, makes it easier to attract and retain excellent employees.”

Reduced deployment time through community

In order to remain relevant in a competitive market, a major financial services organization needed to accelerate its release cycle without reducing quality for the customer but lacked the internal skills to do so. By introducing and teaching the customer’s staff to use automation technology and modern development techniques, the Idea Harbor team was able to reduce the release cycle from 100 days to 10 days. These changes were embedded with the organization through the creation of an internal community that championed the changes and drove enterprise adoption.
